Redfield - Miss Linnie T. Balcom, 82, of Redfield died last evening in the Evergreen Nursing Home in Williamstown.
Miss Balcom was born July 18, 1873, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Jones Balcom. She is the last of a family of nine children. A brother Everett Balcom, 79, died Feb. 21, 1956.
She had spent most of her life in the Redfield vicinity, with the exception of seven years, when she worked at the Eastern Star Home in Oriskany.
The only survivors are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the B. A. Sanborn & Son Funeral Home in Camden, with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience tomorrow and Thursday.
