Sharon Irene Day was born October 22, 1961 in Odessa, Texas to Arvil Reed Day and Mary Lena Pippins. She passed away November 28, 2015 in Edmond, Oklahoma at the age of 54.
Today this earth lost an angel, Sharon Irene Day. She was a beautiful person inside and out and was a blessing in everyone’s life that was lucky enough to be touched by her presence. We will truly miss her for the rest of our lives. We will tell stories of her greatness for many years to come. “We love you Sissy”.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Arvilene Mary Nichols. Survivors include her beloved friend, Frank Horton of the home, niece, Shannon and husband Frank James Yanacek of Midland, Texas, nephew, Stephen Jacob Nichols and wife Tiffany Gatlin of Odessa, Texas, step-son, Michael Wayne Horton and wife Natalie of Jones, grandchildren, Paul James (P.J.) Yanachek, Alex Trevon Mackey, Tiania Horton and Dakota Horton and many other family and friends.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Luther Cemetery in Luther, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
