After high school he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. He married the love of his life, Joan Husby Myers on September 21, 1954 in Durand, WI.
After he retired from the Air Force, he started his own business in Hospitality Industry. In his spare time, he loved playing cards at the VFW Post with his fellow retirees and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Joan Myers; daughters, Susan Bayliss and husband Lane, Denise Myers and husband Don Norris, and Sandi Hardwick and husband Larry; grandchildren, Stephanie, Tracie, Amy, Laura and husband Joshua; great-granddaughter, Jordan; sisters, Verona, Duff, Cleo, and Bonnie.

The family would like to thank Carolyn Loyd for her loving support and care of the family. Bud was truly a remarkable person. He will be greatly missed by everyone that had the honor of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to a charity of donor's choice.

Family has chosen a private service.
