He was employed by Phillips Machinery, Inc., The Presbyterian School of Christian Education, and The Children's Home Society of Virginia. Ken was a devoted Sunday School teacher, and a loving companion to his wife, Shirley, for 56 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Estelle Miller; sister, Phyllis Coyner(51788619).
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Anne Miller; son, Steven Kenneth Miller (spouse, Michelle); granddaughter, Amanda Chanel (spouse, Joey); sister, Delores Purvis (spouse, Bud); brother-in-law, Russell Coyner; uncle, James Mason (spouse, Margaret); aunt, Leona Miller; multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3, at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel. Funeral services will be performed by Dr. Donald F. Runion Jr. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
