Constance "Connie" Bailey age 95 of Salem, died at 3:10pm Sunday November 29th, 2015 at Essex III of Salem where she was well cared for since May 2010. She was born February 14th, 1920 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank Pelopida and Mary Jane (Fiorelli) Pelopida. She attended Youngstown State University. She retired from the Mahoning County Nursing Home where she worked in the dietary department. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and previously Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Austintown. She was loved and will be dearly missed by her family. A son, Dr Frank Bailey of Landrum, SC (Suzanne Bailey) Mary Jane "Bailey" Bailey of Salem and three grandchildren, Erin Marie Serletic (Dean Serletic) of Calabasas, CA, Atty. Perry A. Bailey of Atlanta, GA and Aubrey Lauren Bailey of Miami, FL. Two great granddaughters, Hudson and Hayden Serletic. Her nieces, nephews and many special friends also brought her great joy. Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Charles "Chuck" Bailey, her sisters Madeline Bertilacci, Rita Semivan and Carmella Pelopida; and two brothers Lawrence and Joseph Pelopida. Connie was very devoted to her family. She was an excellent cook and was full of vitality. She loved to dance and sing and responded strongly to music even in the last months of her life.

Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio.
