Judith Gail "Judy" Gunnells Hopkins, 68, wife of Wayne Lewis Hopkins, died June 22, 2012 at Hospice House in Greenwood.
Born in Greenwood November 12, 1943, she was a daughter of Sara Louise Lawton Gunnells and the late Henry David Gunnells. She was formerly employed with Hearst Coleman & Associates and later retired from Ashley Pinson Insurance Adjusters where she served as Office Manager. She was a former member of the Insurance Women's Club.
Mrs. Hopkins was a member of Durst Avenue Church of God.
Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of forty-seven years of the home and mother of Greenwood are two daughters, Toni H. Floyd and husband, Phillip and Heather H. Lollis and husband, Scott, both of Ninety Six; five grandchildren, Lauren Turner, Anna-Brooke Turner, Chris Lollis, Cassidy Lollis and Caylee Lollis, all of Ninety Six; sisters, Faye Goff and Janice Noble and husband, Ronny, both of Greenwood; one brother David Gunnells, also of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Gunnells and grandsons, Taylor Turner and Chayce Lollis.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
