Sharron was born Aug. 24, 1940, in East Peoria to the late William and Ada Baughman Hook.
She graduated from Quincy High School in 1958 and was a member of the Crossing Church in Quincy. Sharron worked in the Quincy area all her life. She was part owner of the Community Auction Center in Quincy until 1995.
Surviving are one son, William "Bill" (Gay Lynn) Davis of Quincy; one sister, Michelle (Jay) Hook Hainline of Colchester; three grandchildren, Capt. Tim Davis, U.S. Army, Tony "Charles" Davis of Quincy and Lyndsey Davis of Quincy; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Sue Bennett.
SERVICES: 11:45 a.m. Saturday in Greemount Cemetery, Quincy.
VISITATION: 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the Hunter Funeral Home, Mendon.
MEMORIALS: Blessing Foundation for Hospice or North Adams Home Activity Fund.
ARRANGEMENTS: Hunter Funeral Home, Mendon.
