Born in Norfolk County Virginia on March 13, 1958 to Gloria Mae and James Earl Blackburn. He departed this earth on March 16, 2011 at an early age of 53. He lived in Colorado since 1983 with a short 2 year stay in Oklahoma In the late 80’s. He did live an interesting life, loved motorcycles, he was a plumber, and his hobby was tattooing and was known to all his friends as “Bird”. He was laid to rest May 6th at Mount Olivet in Wheat Ridge Colorado.
He is survived by his father, James E. Blackburn, Guthrie, OK; brother, James M. Blackburn, Greenville, PA; and 6 sisters, Diane Goodyear, Guthrie, OK; Linda Seely, Troutdale, OR; Emilie Blackburn, Edmond, OK; Yolanda Blackburn, Guthrie, OK; Von Coburn, Guthrie, OK; and Zel Blackburn, Harper’s Ferry, WV; 11 nieces/nephews and 5 grand nieces/nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Gloria Blackburn in May 1993.
