Elizabeth 'Betts' Combs was the daughter of Shadrack Combs and Martha 'Patsy' Casebolt/Davis. She married Clinton Combs, son of Mason Combs and Jane Richardson on 4-9-1837 in Perry Co. Elizabeth lived with Clinton in a log home he built in Masons's Creek. These are the known children of Clinton and Elizabeth Combs:

1. Nelson Combs 1838 Killed in the Civil War

6. Edward Combs 1842

8. Betty Combs 1853 m Jesse Monroe Wooton

After Elizabeth died, Clinton had a second marriage to Louanna Baker, daughter of Isaac Baker and Elizabeth Griffith and had children with her. Clinton also had several children born out of wedlock.

I am unsure where Elizabeth is actually buried. If anyone actually knows, could you tell me. Thank you
