Iris Seymour, 86, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Seymour was born in the Bronx in New York City and was a resident of the Coast since 1970. She traveled to many places with her husband during his military career. Mrs. Seymour was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Major Kenneth F. Seymour, USMC Ret.; her parents, John and Evelyn Murray; her son, Kenneth Seymour, Jr.; her brothers, John and Richard Murray; and her sister, Evelyn Zimba.
Mrs. Seymour’s survivors include her daughters, Karen (Bill) Francisco and Doreen (David) Dawson; her five grandchildren, Billy, Tara, Jennifer, Jessica and Lauren; her great-granddaughter, Lola; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
