East Palestine- William F. McCoy, 84, passed away 4:00 PM November 30, 2015 surrounded by family at his residence. William was born January 15, 1931 in East Palestine, the son of the late John Regis McCoy and Pearl G. Warner McCoy. William was a lifelong resident of East Palestine. He worked for A.C. Hayes on his farm and later as a Dairy Deliverman for North Heights Dairy. In 1951, he was employed by Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products, Inc. until his retirement March 30, 1987. William is survived by one son, William McCoy of Virginia; three daughters, Debra McCoy Malcom of Youngstown, Diane McCoy Earnest of East Palestine, Lori McCoy Dukats of North Carolina; six grandchildren, April Heeter of Austintown, Allen Noble of Poland, Christopher Earnest of Robesonia, PA, Amanda Rusk of Robesonia, PA, Alisha Dukats and Ryan Dukats both of Denver, North Carolina; six great grandchildren; one brother, John McCoy of East Palestine; five sisters, Kate Buckalew and Pat Davis both of East Palestine, Louise Culp of Bowling Green, KY, Nancy McCoy of San Francisco, CA and Barb Harding of Negley. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Roessler) July 21, 2013 and a brother Paul McCoy.
