She is survived by her son Thomas Naylor of Indianapolis; sister, Jeanette (Slabaugh) Johnson of Fort Wayne; Florence (George) Slabaugh of Nappanee, along with cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers Paul and Quentin Slabaugh and sister Virginia (Slabaugh) Huffman. She graduated from Manchester College and Ball State University. She taught physical education in IPS for nearly 40 years. She belonged to Meridian Street UMC, Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Alpha Delta Kappa and the D.A.R. and she volunteered for many organizations including City Center, Day Spring Center, OASIS and the Eiteljorg Museum.
