Wife to Arthur Hardy and mother to at least four children: Arthur (1905-1969), Mary (1907-1930), Fulford Patrick (1911-1951), and Dorothy (1916-1974).
Dorothy, like her parents, made gifts to the local community. She gave major gifts to Brockville General Hospital and the Children's Aid Society. She carried out her father's plans for the Fulford Home for Aged and Indigent Women, and arranged for the Fulford Athletic Grounds to be donated for public sports and recreation. In 1920 she put up a picnic pavilion in St. Lawrence Park.
