Funeral services for Ethel Estell Elliott, 82, of Ft. Worth, TX, formerly of Wills Point, is scheduled for 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point, TX. Visitation will be held one hour before service time. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Edgewood.

Ethel Estell Barker Elliott was born May 29, 1933, in San Saba, TX, to the late Artie Otto Barker and Ethel Callie Crim. Estell attended San Saba High School and married Bill Elliott in February 1956, in Dallas, TX, where they made their home for a short time, before moving to Irving, TX. Estell spent her life creating and maintaining a safe and loving home for her children and husband. In 1974, Bill and Estell moved to Wills Point, TX. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Wills Point, TX, and she was very involved in the Wills Point Independent School District Parent Teacher Club. Estell was always willing to volunteer for different activities in the school and the community. In 1997, she moved to Dallas, TX, and Estell was employed with the Internal Revenue Service for eight years. She later made her home in Azle, TX.
Estell was a very talented artist, playing games in the casinos, and enjoyed traveling to places such as Japan and Europe, but her greatest passion was for her family. She loved spending time with her family and will truly be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Artie and Ethel Barker; brothers, Captain Barker, Aubrel Barker, Harley Barker and Melvin Barker.
