Quincy Ethan Edwards, 17, of Stephenville, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 in Stephenville as a result of injuries from a vehicular accident in poor weather conditions.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Cowboy Church of Erath County in Stephenville. Interment will follow at Johnsville Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Cowboy Church in Erath County. Stephenville Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.

Quincy was born on December 22, 1997 in Stephenville to Kelly Jo Edwards. He was currently attending High School at the Huston Academy in Stephenville and had previously attended Three-way elementary, Hico and Stephenville Schools. Quincy was active in the Boer goat industry as a breeder and exhibitor and had won the prestigious Premier Exhibitor Award at the JABGA national show. He was in his second term on the Board of Directors of the Junior American Boer Goat Association and was the current Vice-President. He recently combined two of his favorite pursuits as a representative for the JABGA at the national FFA convention in Louisville, Ky. Quincy was a dedicated student and loved literature and music. He planned to pursue a career as a physician's assistant. Quincy had resided in Erath County and Hico all of his life.

Survivors include his mother, Kelly Jo Edwards of Stephenville; brothers, Braden Edwards, and Chase OCampo both of Stephenville; sister, Caitlyn OCampo of Stephenville; grandparents, John and Jackie Edwards of Stephenville; favorite great uncle, Jerry Warren of Stephenville; great-grandmother, Marie Richardson of Iraan; uncles, Jeremy Edwards of Brady and Col Edwards, of Stephenville; aunt, Lisa Linder of Comfort, TX; and many cousins family and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
