Leola O. Williams Leola O. Williams, 72, of Dunbar, W. Va. died March 27, 2003, after a short illness. She was born May 22, 1930, in Hinton, W.Va., to William R. and Elsie Mabel Lilly Barton, who preceded her in death. She was a lifelong member of the Chelyan Nazarene Church. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, G.C. Williams Jr. whom she married Dec. 24, 1947, in Chelyan. He passed away March 1, 1991. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lila Lee Ream. She was a dedicated and wonderful Christian mother to her surviving daughter, Teresa and her husband, Scott Blizzard of Point Pleasant; son, Terry Williams and his wife, Shirley of Dunbar; and son, Tracy Williams of Dunbar. She is also survived by one grandson, Terrence Hedrick Williams of Dunbar; and three granddaughters, Vanessa Lasseter and Melanie Denney of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Melissa Plantz of Nitro; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters-in-law, Modena and Margie Barton of Boise, Idaho; and Asher and Joan Barton of Coal City. Burial in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
