SCHEERER, Clare Henry - At Victoria Hospital Palliative Care unit, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Friday June 24th, 2011, with his family by his side, as well as his buddy Benji. Clare was in his 74th year. Survived by his wife Joan, and children Debbie, Susan, Kathy (Randy) and Patty. Missed by grandchildren Jason (Laura), Philip (Ashley), Stephen, Kimberley, Ryan (Quinn), and by great- grandchildren Isaac, Harmony, Landon and Charlotte. Also survived by his siblings Russell (Mildred), Mervin (Florence) Gladys, Roy (Esther) John (Sharon) and Laverne (Sue). Predeceased by his parents, John and Edna. He enjoyed driving truck and Greyhound bus. Clare was an active bowler, and enjoyed many summers up at Chesley Lake camp golfing, playing cards, relaxing and visiting with family and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude and sincere thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. Friends will be received at the West Park Church (955 Gainsborough Rd., London) on Tuesday June 28th, from 12:30 pm. until 2:15 pm., with a Memorial Service to celebrate Clare's life to follow in the chapel at 2:30pm. Cremation has taken place.
