He will be missed by his many friends in Brandon, Florida and Roanoke, Virginia. He was a Korean War veteran, and his love for automobiles enhanced his long career as the owner of Car Brokers until his retirement in 1996. He was loved by his family and his memory will live on through his three daughters, Debbie Dalton and husband James, Robyn Tomcyzkowski and husband Walter, and daughter, Esther Lewis; his two sons, Robert, Jr. and Chris Fralin; his granddaughters, Stephanie English and husband, Lynwood and Sierra Lewis; his great-grandchildren, Dylan Smith, and Mykah and Braylon English; his sister, Edith Sweeney and husband Roy; niece, Linda Atkinson; nephews, R. Lee Sweeney and Charlie Sweeney; his brothers, Jerry and Larry Dickerson; and niece, Carmen; as well as several cousins and in-laws.
Last respects can be made at Simpson Funeral Home at 5160 Peters Creek Rd., Tuesday, August 29, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Rd., by the Rev. John Oyler. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Airport Rd.
