Cassandra Gwyn Campbell, 20, of Bellefontaine, died at 6:25 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, Toledo.

She was born in Bellefontaine on July 6, 1991, a daughter of Cathy Jo Petty Campbell, who survives in Bellefontaine, and the late Guwyne Farren Campbell. She also was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Glenna Petty.

Survivors include a brother Ora Tyler (Tiffany) Campbell of Fort Hood, Texas; and paternal grandparents, Asa c. and Darlene Campbell of Murrells Inlet, S.C.

She was a 2011 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, where she played volleyball, basketball, ran track and was in the high school marching band. She was enrolled in the engineering program at the University of Toledo.

Pastor Rick Petty officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.

Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Toledo or the charities of the donors' choices.
