Faye Jenkins, 89, of St. Simons Island died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Mrs. Jenkins was born in Lyons, Georgia. She was a graduate of Glynn Academy and married her loving husband Jack in 1945. Mrs. Jenkins was a longtime resident of St. Simons Island and longtime member of St. Simons United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, John B. “Jack” Jenkins of St. Simons Island; son, Robert A. Jenkins (Nancy) of St. Simons Island; daughter, Janet J. Adamson (Skip) of Jekyll Island; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Jenkins.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the St. Simons United Methodist Church Parlor. Private Inurnment will be at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles or St. Simons United Methodist Church.
