Professionally, Terry worked as a laborer for many years in warehouse supply. He enjoyed horseback riding, bowling, fishing and motorcycles.
Terry is survived by his wife, Theresa; mother, Betty Avis Walters; son, Roger Schneidt of Lafayette and his daughter, Julie Glass of Lafayette; brother, Melvin Walters of Lafayette; two sisters, Mary N. Carter of Indianapolis and Dorothy Carter of Lafayette, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to his father, Terry is preceded in death by his brother, Louis Carter and step-son, Brady Bartlett.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior to the service on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Celebrant Denis Horn will officiate. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
