Doris Elene Decker of Nida, Oklahoma was born to Ben and Gladys (Cone) Garner on Thursday December 3, 1931 in Wilson County, Texas. She left this life on Friday, November 27, 2015 in Plano Texas at the age of 84 years 11 months 24 days.

She married Jack in San Marcos, Texas on June 4, 1949. Elene was a homemaker and she devoted her life to that task. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Tishomingo, Oklahoma and the O.H.C.E., she was an accomplished seamstress, loved cooking for her family but her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Decker and wife Sandy of Nida, Oklahoma, Ginny McCarthick and husband Scotty of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Teresa Weathers and husband Ed of Nida, Oklahoma and Clinton Decker and wife Andrea of Stigler, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Josh and Nicole McCarthick, Drew and Jana McCarthick, Brooke and Ronnie Walters, Leah and Michael Harper, Jacob Flint, Tyler, Clay, Cooper and Landrie Decker, Tyler Edge and Ireland Fitzer; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Olivia Harper, Christian and Emerson Walters, Logan and Jax McCarthick; sister Audrey Tyler and husband Wink of Roundrock, Texas; brothers Melvin Garner and wife Cheryl of Fairview, Kansas and Thomas Garner of Franklin, New Jersey, sister-in- law Zelda Garner of Lorena, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Gladys Garner. husband Jack Decker August 11, 2014, brother: Ronald Garner; sister Brenda Pitts.

A service to Celebrate her life will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at th Calvary Baptist Church in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Bro. Ronnie Walters officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
