Douglas Wayne Jenkins, Sr. 69 of Bono passed from this life Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born in Tyronza to James Jenkins and Hattie Lyles Jenkins, June 17, 1946. He was a member of the New Testament Missionary Baptist Church. Douglas was a truck driver for E Ritter, loved his grandkids, hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 48 years, Regina Jenkins of the home; son, Douglas Jenkins, Jr. and wife Samantha; 3 daughters, Joyce Jenkins of Bono; Lorri Ralston and husband Scott of Jonesboro; and Tammie Rodriguez and husband Jacob of Bono; brother, Ellis Jenkins, and sister Nellie Orr; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 2 pm, Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Trinity Cemetery with Jerry Parker officiating with Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers will be Brett Gann, Taylor Isom, Jacob Rodriguez, Scott Ralston, Branden Wood and Lucus Miller.

There was no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Trinity Cemetery.
