Obituary:
Ashley Nicole Van Ness, 22, Kokomo, passed away at 11:06 pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. She was born on September 7, 1993, in Kokomo, the daughter of Harry A. Jr. & Mary Jane (Clark) Van Ness.

Ashley had previously been a waitress at Breakfast House for 6 years and had just recently started at Mulligans Sport Pub. She enjoyed listening to music and watching the New England Patriots football team play. Ashley loved spending time with Riley and Zachary whom she saw every day.

Ashley is survived by her parents, Harry A. Jr. & Mary Jane Van Ness, Kokomo; siblings, Sabrina Van Ness, Wanda Van Ness, Zachary (Connie) Van Ness, Robert (Lori) Van Ness, and Harry III (Ramona) Van Ness; life companion, Diamond Smith, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents, and niece, Karli Jane Van Ness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 4, 2015, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Algie Van Winkle officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ashley’s memory to her family in care of, Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, to assist the family with final arrangements.
