Virginia Eason Hand, 95, of Tifton died Nov. 28, 2015 in the Berrien Nursing Center. She was born Dec. 11, 1919 in Keysville, GA to the late Henry Lawrence and Lillia Poole Eason. She was a homemaker and a member of Tift First United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Harvey Dillard Hand; also preceded in death by her adopted sons: Thomas Hand and Michael Dillard Hand; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by grandchildren: Allyson Snipes of Canton, Lawrence (Brook) Hand of Alapaha, April (James) Ware of Waycross, Christina Allen of Nashville, Jason Stevens of Fredericksburg, VA and Jennifer Brown of Nashville. A graveside service was held Nov. 30, 2015 in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home.
