Funeral services for Danny Ray Ford, 63, of Sterlington, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 30, 2015, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home on Sterlington Road in Monroe with Rev. Jerry Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.

Mr. Ford died Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Claiborne Memorial Medical Center in Homer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing in chess tournaments, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved history and was very knowledgeable about war planes, and was a member of Spencer Baptist Church.

Mr. Ford was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Helen Ford; and brother, Jerry Wayne Ford.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle Ford; children, Deiah Fusilier and husband Jeffre of Lafayette, and Johnathan Ford and wife Sara of Fairbanks; grandchildren, Hunter Hayden, Bella Grace Ford and Braxton Ray Ford; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Bloxam, Milton Pero Stewart, Lee Hill, Billy Stewart, Fuzz Jones, Brad Hayden and Hunter Hayden.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, November 29, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe
