Sharon K. Dennis, 46, of Vassar, died unexpectedly Monday, February 27, 2006, at Hills and Dales General Hospital. She was born August 15, 1959 in Lincoln Park to Clark and Betty (Schenk) Hodgson. Sharon was a CNA for Tendercare Nursing Facility in Cass City. She worked in nursing care for over 20 years. She enjoyed knitting and collecting dolphins. Sharon was always happy and loved to make everyone laugh. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by her children, Angel (Matthew) Hux, of Greenbush; Aron Dennis, of Greenbush; grandchildren, Christian Hux, Fallon Hux; sister, Dawna (Allan) Nelson, of Vassar; brother, Randy Williams, of Curacao Island (in the Caribbean); nieces, Gabrielle Nelson and Danielle Nelson; nephew, Noah Nelson; grandparents, Paul and Martha Schenk, of Bad Axe; her many friends at Tendercare. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Williams, and her father, Clark Hodgson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2006, at Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with Elder Steven Beebe, of Community of Christ Church, Mayville, officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Bach. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2006.
Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
