TRINITY -- The funeral for Curtis Eugene Morris, 61, will be Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at Parkway Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Joel Logan and Ray Pettit officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield at 4 p.m. with Shane Swinney officiating. Visitation will be today from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Morris, who died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born April 12, 1954, to Andrew Jackson Morris and Maggie Louise Terry. He attended Sweet Springs Baptist Church. He was president and co-owner of Interstate Steel. He was a native of Colbert County. He was a loving husband, father, and granddaddy.

He was preceded in death by father, Andrew Jackson Morris; mother, Mary Louise Terry; brother, James Curtis Morris; and sister, Margaret Tidwell Rice.

Survivors include wife of 31 years, Debbie Morris; son, Steve Morris; daughters, Angie (Allen) Lesley and Melissa (Jack) Henson; grandchildren, Joshua Wright, Austin Joyner, Clayton Joyner, Madelyn Lesley, and Luck Lesley; mother-in-law, Annie Carroll; brothers, Jerry Morris and David Morris; and sisters, Bettye Patrick, Peggy Rigsby, Charlotte Duncan, Brenda McCormack, and Kim Michael.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.
