UPSHAW, Herbert Arthur Jr. "Bubby" - 52, Truro, passed away surrounded by those he loved on February 20, 2005, in his home. Born in Truro, he was a son of Elsie (Gero) Upshaw, Truro, and the late Herbert Upshaw. He worked at Crossley Carpets for 26 years. Herbert is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Goodwin); son, Ivan (Jessica) Sisco, Saint John, N.B.; stepsons, Tyrone Goodwin, Truro, Cody Goodwin, Amherst; Zerious Loney, Truro; sisters, Beverly (Donald) Bowden, New Glasgow; Carolyn Upshaw, Truro; Tammi Upshaw, Patricia (Andrew) Kalicharan, both of Toronto, Ont.; granddaughter, Brittany, Frederiction, N.B. Besides his father, Herbert was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Elias and Mary (Hamilton) Upshaw; his maternal grandmother, Mabel Gero; nephew, Donald Bowden. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.; a memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m., Pastor Brian Johnston officiating, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Interment will be held in Robie Street Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
