Brian Galen Armstrong was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 30, 1967 to Mildred Carol Bright and Marion Earl Armstrong.

Brian grew up in Owasso, Oklahoma for most of his life with brief stays in Bentonville, Arkansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Owasso High School in 1985. Brian played football and marching in the Pride of Owasso Band which included marching in the Rose Parade. Brian completed one year of general studies at Oklahoma State University before coming home to work at Phillips 66 gas station on 21st and Utica and the Tulsa Billiard Palace on Harvard and 12th. The Tulsa Billiard Palace is the place where he met the future Mrs. Armstrong.

Brian and Rebecca were married in October 23, 1987 at the Church of Christ in Sperry, Oklahoma. They went on to have four wonderful children.
Brian was always very close to his children.

He attended football, baseball, softball, and soccer games and tournaments, as well as assisting his kids with activities in FFA and Band. Brian loved to go hunting with his children and brother-in-law, but his greatest love was his grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

He spent the past year battling colorectal cancer that had spread to the liver, during this time he was blessed with a handsome grandson the made his final days a joy as he fought through the pain.

Brian got his Journeyman Electrician License's and worked for Oil Capital Electric as an electrician, but later settled on his career working as a cable splicer for AT&T for 15 years, where he met many friends.

Brian is survived by his loving wife, two sons and their wives, and two grandsons, step-granddaughter, step-grandsons, daughter and her husband, his father, and brother.

Brian is preceded in death by his mother Mildred Carol Bright.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2015, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint, Elm Creek Ward Building, 9300 N. 129th East Avenue, Owasso, Oklahoma, followed by interment at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
