Funeral services for Robert E. Thomasson, 65, Utica, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow at Utica Hillcrest Cemetery. He passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015 at his home.
He was a custom cabinet maker for D.B.M. and worked at Broady Floor Covering. He was a member of the N.R.A. and Utica Praise Church.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Ann (Morrow) Thomasson of Utica; his sons Mitchell Thomasson of Utica, and Jonathon E. Thomasson of Utica; his daughter Tessa L. Hewitt of Utica; his brothers Craig Thomasson of Fort Worth, Texas, Dennis Thomasson of Charlestown, Jeffery Thomasson of Jeffersonville, and Neil Thomasson Jr.; his grandchildren Catlin Burns, John Hewitt, Isiah Thomasson, Dawson Thomasson and Landen Thomasson; his great-grandchild Hunter Burns.
He is preceded in death by his father Neil R. Thomasson Sr.; his mother Eva Thomasson.; his sister Sue Ann Nifong.; and his infant son.
Visitation will be held Monday beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of service.
