Brenda Alexander Herring, 68, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Thursday, November 26, 2015 in a local hospital. Brenda was born February 21, 1947 in Texarkana, Texas.
She formerly had worked for Wadley Regional Medical Center for 15 years as a switchboard operator and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Herring. She is survived by a cousin, Ricky Harrison of Shreveport, Louisiana and her adoptive family, Gene Keller, Debra Hall, LaRae Hall of Texarkana, Texas and Austin Plunkett of Redwater, Texas.
Graveside services will be 2 p. m. Monday, November 30, 2015 at East Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating.
