Nina Rivers Scott is the daughter of Bradford Lindsey Scott & Lillie Pearl Paul. She married twice:
1st - Vollie Leroy Evans on 30 Apr 1950 in Wilmington NC.
2nd - Brantley Layton Elliott on 19 Oct 1980 in Whiteville NC.
Nina was likely born in Pamlico County, probably Grantsboro as her parents reported living there in both the 1910 & 1920 Census.

Whiteville- Mrs. Nina Rivers Scott Evans Elliott, 96 of Whiteville died Thursday April 12, 2012 at the Columbus Regional Healthcare. Mrs. Elliott was the daughter of the late Bradford L. Scott and Lillie Pearl Paul Scott; she also was preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Evans. Mrs. Elliott received her training as a nurse from James Walker Hospital in Wilmington, N.C. from 1942 until 1944. She worked as a registered nurse there from 1944 until 1950. In later years from 1972 until 1992 she worked as a registered nurse at Century Care Nursing Facility in Whiteville, N.C. Mrs. Elliott is survived by her husband, Brantley Elliott of Whiteville; three sons, Thomas Evans of Shallotte, NC, Howard Evans of Winston Salem, NC and David Evans of Southport, NC; one daughter, Jean Wright of Tabor City, NC; two step sons, Markus Elliott of Whiteville, NC and Marion Elliott of Smithfield, VA and one step daughter, Johanna English of Castle Hayne, NC; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday April 14, 2012 at McKenzie Mortuary from 1:30-2:45 PM. The service will follow at 3:00 PM in the McKenzie Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Merle Johnson and Danny Gore officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbus Memorial Park.
