Patsy Ruth Romero Anaya, 71, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 in St. Johns. She was born May 29, 1944 in Reserve, New Mexico to Rutilio and Tomasita "Sarah" Barreras Romero.
Patsy was a homemaker and loved being with family. She loved the Arizona Cardinals, camping and fishing. She played baseball and loved to help dad with wood hauling. She loved hanging clothes on her clothesline daily and making tortillas.
Patsy is survived by her Husband: Jerry Anaya of St. Johns; Geraldine Lewis of St. Johns, Angie Maya of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cora Herrera of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Sarah Owens of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Donna Baldonado of Holbrook, Pamela Aguilar of Show Low, Brittany Castillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brothers: Wilfred Romero, Leroy Romero, Bernie Romero, Fernie Romero; Sister: Mary Clark; 39 Grandchildren and 20 Great-Grandchildren.
Patsy is preceded in death by her Parents: Rutilio and Tomasita Sarah Barerras Romer; Daughters: Maria "Mary" Anaya and Aurelia Anaya; Granddaughter: Brandee Lewis; Brother: Larry Romero and Sister: Lydia Vallejos.
A Rosary will be held Friday, November 27, 2015 at 6:00 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Johns.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM also at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Johns.
Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at St. Johns Catholic Cemetery.
