Mrs. Letha Moon Ballew
Landrum, July 21 -- Mrs. Letha Julia Moon Ballew, 80, wife of Furman Ballew, died this afternoon at 5:20 following two years of declining health, and a serious illness of a few days. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Julia Crain Moon and was born and reared in Greenville County.
Surviving are her husband , seven children, John R. and E.C. Ballew, Mrs. H.Y. Plemons, Mrs. D.B. Farnsworth, Mrs. H.S. Dill, Mrs. Toy Farmer and Mrs. J.E. Good; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Petty Funeral Home.
