G D. Denger passed away at his home in Vernon township last Monday evening. Mr. Denger had been in poor health for several years, a sufferer of heart and Bright's disease with other complications. He was at Rochester, Minnesota about two years ago for an examination and treatment and again last September but could only secure temporary relief.

He was taken worse about two months ago and has been in the care of a trained nurse the past six weeks. Up to almost the last he has been able to be around some and was out for an auto ride every day. He, however, continued to grow weaker and every thing that medical skill and loving hands could do was of no avail and the end came Monday about seven o'clock.

He is survived by the widow and seven children: Joe, Clarence, Ralph, Stanley, Ray, Mrs. Rose Ellifson and Roy; one sister, Miss Leafy Dener of Cissna Park, Illinois and three brothers: C. H. of Lebanon, Indiana; W. B. of Cissna Park and A. A. of Dows; six grandchildren and other more distant relatives.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church this afternoon under the direction of the Masonic lodge with the Reverend Waterman preaching the sermon and the masonic ritualistic work was conducted at the grave. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
