Ruth G. Atkins, 87, of Paris, died at 1:45 a.m. EST Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Ind.
Graveside services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.
Mrs. Atkins was born Jan. 19, 1919, at West Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of the late James Robert Campbell and Oma Cummins Campbell. She married Kenneth E. Atkins on June 11, 1938, at Paris. He survives.
She is also survived by one daughter, Sally Adams of Paris; two brothers, Carl Campbell of Terre Haute, Ind., and James L. Campbell of Sandford, Ind.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
