James Augustine "Butch" Moore

Butch Moore was the lead singer of The Capitol Showband.
He sang "Walking the streets in the rain" which was Ireland's first entry in the Eurovision Song Contest at Naples, in 1965. He came 6th out of 18 entries. The winner was Luxembourg with Poupée De Cire, Poupée De Son, sung by France Gall.
