Glen Russell Hofstetter of Plattsville passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, July 7, 1994, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. He was in his 63rd year. Glen had lived in Plattsville all of his life and had worked at the Platteville Mill for over 30 years and at Hybrid Turkeys for over five years. Loved companion of Marion Riesberry. Survived by brothers' and sisters, Harold and his wife Linda of Petersburg, Harry and his wife Reta, John and his wife Margaret, Layton and his wife Helen, all of Plattsville, Reid and his wife Eva of Washington, Ruby Ament of Linwood and Jean Ross of Woodstock and by one sister-in-law, Edith Hofstetter of Innerkip. Glen is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Lavelda (1966) by an infant daughter, Kathleen (1966); by his parents, Walter and Phoebe Hofstetter; by brothers, Floyd and Earl and sisters, Marjorie Littlejohns and Helen Hofstetter. Rested at Glendinning Funeral Home, Plattsville, where funeral service was conducted Monday by Father Peter Watters. Interment Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.
