Amy Stinson Blankenship, 63, of Scottsville, KY died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Dollar General, General Electric and A. O. Smith. She was a daughter of the late Johnny William Stinson and Lena Esther Ford Stinson and wife of the late Hazel C. "Hot" Blankenship.
She is survived by 3 sons: Matthew Blankenship; Daniel Blankenship and wife, Diane; and Tim Blankenship and wife, Tina, all of Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Vicki Frost and fiance', Danny Schmidt, Indianapolis, IN;
3 brothers: Delford Johnson and wife, Wanda, and Dennis Stinson and wife, Mary, all of Scottsville, KY; James Johnson, Lebanon, TN;
3 sisters: Arnell Brown, Faye Vaughn and Glenda Weaver and husband, Dewey, all of Scottsville, KY;
8 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 9 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandson.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Carter officiating and burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.
