Father Hiram Edwards
Mother Sally Bond

First husband John Edwards, married June 25, 1835, no children
.
Second husband William Henry Edwards, son of Aaron
married 30 July 1839, seven children

Jane was ten years old when her father died. Sally and her five children moved to a newly purchased property on Hurricane Creek, in Civil District 20, where she remained for the rest of her 85 year life.

At age eighteen, Jane married her first husband John Edwards. The Bondsman for the marriage was William Henry Edwards, John's brother. John did not live long and there were no surviving children.

Jane remarried to John's brother William Henry Edwards. Henry had recently lost his first wife Nancy. In the 1850 census, Jane and Henry were living near her mother, Sally Bond Edwards, in Civil District 20 in Wilson County. Jane and Henry had seven children, all at that location.

One child in the Henry and Jane household, Hannah Elizabeth, was from Henry's first marriage.

Circumstances suggest that Jane died in Wilson County in 1851. Henry had just bought 125 acres from his sister-in-law Hannah Edwards, but abruptly sold most of the land and moved his family to Williamson County, Illinois. The last record in the life of Jane Edwards was the 1850 census in Wilson County.

Daughter Nancy has not been found. She may have died in Wilson County at about the same time as her Mother. The Lebanon newspaper was reporting a second cholera epidemic.
