Lois A. Brown, age 75 of De Pere, formerly of Kewaunee died on Monday, November 23, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 26, 1940 in Wyoming to the late Harry and Nellie (Shindledecker) Liske.She married Murray Brown on August 26, 1955 Gering, Nebraska.She and Murray resided in Nebraska for forty-one years where she was a very active volunteer at the hospital and in youth programs. They moved to Kewaunee in 1996. She loved to travel, cooking, baking, sewing, reading and crafts.Survivors include Murray, her husband of sixty years; two sons and daughters-in-law: Dan & Kathy Brown, Kewaunee; Kevin & Oksana Brown, Indianapolis; five grandchildren: Liza (Nathan) VandenLangenberg, Casco; Justin (Alyssa) Brown, Kewaunee; Hannah Brown, De Pere; Alexander Brown, Indianapolis; Brandon (Lisa) Bender, Green Bay; five great grandchildren: Taylor Brown; Willow, Wren, Hudson VandenLangenberg; Sophia Bender; three sisters: Thelma Wood, Calico Rock, AR; Shirley (Henry) Sturgeon, Granbury, TX; Bertha (Ray) Babbitt, Yoder, WY and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by one son: Mark Brown and one brother: Bill Liske.Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 27 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church, Kewaunee with Rev. Howard Batt officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery
