Russell Lee Wells, 83, died peacefully at home on November 24. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Lou (Wares) of 55 years. Born in Medford, Oklahoma on November 1, 1932 to Donald Keith and Anna Marie (Williamson) Wells.

Russell is survived by his children David Lee (Jackie), Lloyd Duane (Sheila), Donna JoAnn Robb, one grandson, Joseph Lee, his brother Treat Lawrence, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, his Sister Catherine Ginder, Irene Parsons, his brothers Billy, Donald, Joe Ed.

He was employed at Layne Western and Harp Well & Pump as a Driller for many years. He was a member of the VFW & the Independent Order of Forresters. He served in the Army during the Korean War.

The Viewing is Friday, November, 27 from 2-6 at Culbertson Smith Mortuary, Wichita, Ks. Funeral Service is 10 am Saturday, November, 28 at Christian Chapel Foursquare, Wichita, Ks. Lunch to follow. Graveside service at 2 pm at Forest Hills Cemetery, South Haven, Ks.
