Marion, July 16. Samuel Diehl died Monday at 2 p.m. at his home near Turkey Foot, the cause of death being consumption. Mr. Diehl was an industrious man, having been a post-fence maker for many years. He was a member of the United Brethren church and had the respect of all who knew him. His funeral will take place tomorrow, the mourners meeting at the house at 9 a.m. Services will be held in the Lutheran White church near Marion; interment in the White Church cemetery. Mr. Diehl's wife died three years ago. Samuel Diehl was in his sixtieth year and the surviving children are:George, Kansas; Montgomery Housum; Edward, Shippensburg; Simon, Mrs. Franklin (Sarah) Davis, near Greencastle.
