Graveside services for Lela Ione Balke of Minco were held today in the Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Gene Ellis officiating. Services were under direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.
Mrs. Balke died Saturday in Chickasha. She was born June 16, 1915, in Anadarko. She had lived in the Minco community since 1930. She was a rural mail carrier and had worked for Boeing Aircraft as well as a waitress and in retail sales. She was a member of Rebekah's Lodge.
She is survived by a son, Jesse Balke, and a daughter, Minnie Davis, both of Minco; a brother, Leslie Crumm of Blanchard; a sister, Wanda Ellis of Norge; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
