Hastings resident, Dorothy A. Theisen, 84, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be 9:30 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will following at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 27, 2015 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings.

Dorothy was born July 16, 1931 in Roseland, Nebraska to George W. & Eva (Hemberger) Loskill. She married Lavern A. Theisen on June 25, 1953 in Roseland, Nebraska at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Dorothy was a seamstress for Mode O’Day, and also sewed clothing for the Dominican Sisters at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Schools and provided daycare services for many years. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Altar Society and American Legion Auxiliary.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Bernadette Dempewolf, Catherine Parr, Alice Trausch, Mary Kimminau, Richard Loskill, Robert Loskill, Agnes Kolbet, Florence Pantenburg and Carol Ann Smith.
