Megan S. Moore, 63, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at her home. She was born Oct. 7, 1952, in New Kensington, to Nancy R. Dunn Moore, with whom she lived, and the late Robert J. Moore Jr. Megan was a 1970 graduate of Valley High School and was a nanny for several New Kensington families. She was a member of Logans Ferry Presbyterian Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed surfing the web and traveling to Florida every year with her mother. Surviving is her mother, Nancy R. Dunn Moore.
Viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Robert J. Henry will officiate. Burial will be in the Parnassus Presbyterian Cemetery.
