She is survived by her husband, Douglas Benson of Portage; father, Fidel Carlin of Pasadena, CA; son, Daniel (Annalisha) Grover of Portage; daughters, Arlene (Lavelle) Turner of Parma Heights, OH, Sarah (Oscar Guerra) Carlin of Parma Heights, OH, Katrina Grover of Portage; brothers, Armando (Eva) Carlin, Joe Carlin both of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Yolanda Carlin of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Billy Wilburn, Aliyah Wilburn, Lavell Turner Jr, Anthony Dearth, Joshua Carlin, Andrea Guerra, Ayanna Grover. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lupe Carlin.
Cynthia loved photography, music, gardening, spending time with family, especially going out to coffee and brunch. She was a school bus driver for the city of Hobart and just adored the children on her bus. Cynthia was known for keeping things clean, especially her home and cars.
