Maxine had such an affectionate smile that lit up the room whenever she entered it. She was a member of the Elks Lodge and loved plants and enjoyed her green house. She also loved to travel and spending time with friends. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Dickerson; son, Dee Blackwell; brothers, J.L. Smith and Denis Smith; and a sister, Wanda Weaver.
Survivors: Nieces, Kris Gantt and her husband, John, Tobi Ling, Kathi Fondren and Gay Barclay; nephew, Joel Smith; and a host of extended friends and family.
