Harold "Hamp" Hampton, 80, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father Monday, November 23, 2015. Mr. Hampton was born October 30, 1935 in Letcher County, Kentucky to the late Carl and Beulah Adams Hampton.

He was a retiree of General Electric, a member of the Highland Park Masonic Lodge # 865 and Southeast Christian Church.

Among those who preceded him in death include his daughter, Tena Marie Hampton-Smith and his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, Lou Anna Hampton; daughter, Melinda Crawley (Nathan); grandchildren, Joshua Crawley (Larisa), Breanna Crawley and Sequoia Smith; great grandson, Jude Crawley; brother, Phillip Hampton (Cheri); sister, Charlotte "Lottie" Hampton; special family friends, Beatrice "Bea" Crawford, Katie Whitaker, Phil and Shirley Badgett and Linda Odom; several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 am with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
